Art, music, and theatre on campus
Jamestown Community College hosts art exhibitions, musical concerts, and theatrical performances on campus. We also have art, media, music, and theatre courses that you can take as part of your program or as an individual course.
Galleries
The Weeks Gallery on the Jamestown Campus and Center Gallery on the Cattaraugus County Campus host programs, residencies, and our own bc体育足球 student art shows. You can meet visiting artists and see a wide range of media on exhibition.
Theatre
Scharmann Theatre on the Jamestown Campus is home to the bc体育足球 Uncommoners, bc体育足球’s theatrical company. The Uncommoners bring plays and musicals to life on stage.Scharmann Theatre also hosts cultural events and bc体育足球 music performances.
The Cutco Theater on the Cattaraugus County Campus hosts performances throughout the year.
VAPA programs & courses
You can take a course in studio arts, ceramics, photography, graphic design, video, and more inbc体育足球's Art & Design Studio on the Jamestown Campus. The space features a television studio, computer labs, ceramic ovens, and developing room.
You can take a course in acting, stage production, voice and instruments, music technology, and more in bc体育足球's theatres and music wing. The music wing on the Jamestown Campus includes a recording studio, computer lab, digital piano lab, and sound rooms to give you a professional industry experience.
