The Residence Life director works with residence directors and student resident assistants to provide a supportive environment and fun programming. Tyler Silagyi, Director of Residence Life

Welcome to Residence Life and the Hillside Suites! My name is Tyler Silagyi, and along with being the director of Residence Life, I am also a bc体育足球 alumnus and previous residence director here at the college. Through this position, I hope to provide our residents with an experience that helps them grow into mature young adults ready to take on their next steps in life.

In Residence Life, we firmly believe that the more connected you are, the more successful you will become! It is my hope that by choosing to live on-campus, student residents will be able to make long-lasting and valuable connections with each other, faculty, staff, and the Jamestown community. Everyone is capable of success, which relies on the choices that each of us make. This is the time to define who you are as a person and who you wish to become. Choose to be great at everything you do and you will find continuous success with every new adventure.

Karen Campbell, Residence Director

Hi, my name is Karen Campbell, and I am the resident director of Hillside Suites North. I am a graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC, so get ready for some southern charm. I look forward to working with and getting to know the students at bc体育足球. I want to not only help you become great students, but also adults who can make it once they leave this institution of higher learning.

Blake Bernstein, Resident Assistant

What’s up everyone - I’m Blake Bernstein. I’m from Long Beach, New York, and I’m hyped to be your RA this year. I’m big on staying active, whether it’s working out, playing sports, or hitting the beach. In the summer, I work as a lifeguard, so if you ever need someone who can run fast in flip-flops, I’m your guy. I’m here to keep things running smooth and be someone you can come to if you need help, have questions, or just wanna chill. Let’s make it a solid year.

Hi! My name is Sam Little, and I come from Bangor, Northern Ireland. I am entering my second year here at bc体育足球 while studying Physical Education. I’m also a part of the soccer and golf teams. As an RA I am willing to lend help to residents, whether it be in the dorms or around campus. Brittany Colon, Resident Assistant

Hi! My name is Brittany Colon, and I’m excited to be starting my first year as a resident assistant here at bc体育足球. I’m originally from Puerto Rico and am currently in my second year studying Criminal Justice, with the goal of working in criminal investigation. I’m passionate about connecting with others and building a welcoming community, and I love meeting new people from all walks of life. Outside of school, you can usually find me playing volleyball, enjoying sports, or listening to music. I can’t wait to get to know everyone and help make this year a great experience for all!

Hello guys!!! My name is Federico Foddai, and I'm thrilled to serve as your resident assistant. Originally from Italy, I’m currently a sophomore at bc体育足球, where I play on the college basketball team. Being part of the team not only fuels my passion for sports, but also helps me connect with fellow students and build a strong sense of community.In my free time, I enjoy playing the guitar, which relax me after a busy day. Hey! I’m Tyra Godi, born and raised in South Africa. I am a resident assistant who is majoring in Life Sciences in biology. As an RA, I am passionate in building new relationships with all residents and ensuring that I create an environment for every resident to feel comfortable and safe. I am adaptable to change, where priorities are shifted if needed, while juggling my academics and my role as an RA. I strive to support residents on campus, both socially and personally, ensuring it’s an enjoyable experience for all residents.

Hi everyone, my name is Valerie Gweshe. I am currently majoring in Engineering Science. Despite being a STEM student, I am very passionate about music and singing, which gives me a break from the math. My goal as an RA is to help you grow and hopefully you can help me grow too!
