Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Refresher
Any current or former New York State EMT may take the refresher course regardless of when your NYS EMT certification expired.
If you are currently certified, your certification exam must have taken place 18 months prior to enrolling in the EMT Refresher course.
Basic Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Participants that do not want college credit for Basic EMT are not required to have a high school diploma or GED.
Basic EMT Program participants wanting to take the course for college credit must have a high school diploma or a GED. This is a requirement of SUNY bc体育足球, not for the NYS Department of Health. If applicants do not have a high school diploma or GED, they will be required to take a reading placement test on behalf of bc体育足球.
