Select the account you want to log into (some accounts will require multi-factor authentication)
Enter your bc体育足球 email (smithab01@sunyjcc.edu)
Enter your password
- New students: Your initial password is your birth date in MMDDYY format (ex. 012490).
- Current students: If you forgot your password, select the Forgot Password? link. To change your password, select Change your Mybc体育足球 password and follow the prompts.

Banner: In Banner, you can access your schedule, grades, and financial aid; add and drop classes; and update your contact information.
Brightspace: Some of your instructors use Brightspace to share course materials and communicate with you.
Degree Works: Degree Works lets you track your degree progress by showing you which courses you have completed and which courses you still need to take for graduation. You can also view how your courses would fit into another program if you decide to change your major.

Starfish: Starfish helps you find instructor office hours, schedule advisement appointments, and connect with student services.
Wifi on campus: Enter a web address in your browser and you will be redirected to the bc体育足球 wireless login page.

All bc体育足球 campus email and files are in Microsoft 365 (Outlook + OneDrive).

Here’s a quick cheat sheet to help you do the everyday tasks using Microsoft 365. When opening the link, use your bc体育足球 email address to log in for access.

Microsoft 365 Questions & Answers

Will I lose any of my Gmail messages or Google Drive files? Nope! Your bc体育足球 email and Drive filestransferred automatically to Outlook and OneDrive. Personal @gmail.com accounts stay untouched. If for some reason, something didn’t get transferred, contact the Help Desk to see if they can recover the file(s).
Does my email address change? Your address stays exactly the same (e.g., username@sunyjcc.edu). Only the "mailbox" behind it changes from Gmail to Outlook.
Do I need a new password? No. You’ll sign in to Microsoft 365 with the same bc体育足球 email and password you use to access Brightspace/Microsoft 365.
Where do I log in to my email after the switch? You can visit sunyjcc.edu/myjcc and select bc体育足球 Student Email.
What about Google Docs links shared in Brightspace or with classmates? Shared class folders and files will get new OneDrive links. If you see an old Google link that doesn’t work, please tell your instructor. How to share OneDrive files and folders »
Can I still work with others on documents in real time? Absolutely. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint online let multiple people edit simultaneously, chat and comments included - just like Google Docs.
Do I have to pay for Microsoft Office apps on my laptop/computer? No charge. Your @sunyjcc.edu account unlocks the full desktop versions (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) for free download on up to five devices. Visit microsoft365.com to install the desktop apps on your computer.
I’m in the middle of a group project - will this break anything? Yes, the owner of the file will have to reshare it with you with a new Microsoft link.
What if I already forward my school email to another account? Any existing bc体育足球 Gmail forward stops on July 4. You will not be able to forward your email.
What happens to my YouTube videos stored in my bc体育足球 account? You can use Google Takeout to download your videos.
What happens to my Google Sites stored in my bc体育足球 account? You can use Google Takeout to download your website in HTML format.
